How to find your TradingView username

A — On the Web (Desktop / Laptop)
  1. Go to tradingview.com and log in to your account.

  2. Click your profile icon (top-right corner).

  3. In the profile panel that opens, your username is shown under your display name (or next to your avatar).

  4. To copy the profile link: click your profile → View profile → copy the browser address bar URL (it looks like https://www.tradingview.com/u/YourUsername/).

  5. Paste the username or the full profile URL into the Access Request Form (exact spelling required).

Tip: Use the profile page URL if your username contains special characters or spaces — it’s unambiguous for us to verify.

B — On Mobile (TradingView App — iOS & Android)
  1. Open the TradingView app and log in.

  2. Tap the profile/menu icon (usually bottom-right).

  3. Your username appears at the top of the profile screen, under your avatar/display name.

  4. To copy the profile link: open your profile → look for a Share or More (⋯) button → choose Copy Profile Link (or ShareCopy Link). The link will be https://www.tradingview.com/u/YourUsername/.

  5. Paste the username or profile link into the Access Request Form.

Tip: If you don’t see a “Copy Link” option, just copy the username text exactly as shown and paste it.

C — How to edit or confirm your username (if needed)
  1. Go to your profile → tap Edit profile (or Settings > Profile on web).

  2. Check the Username field. If you change it, note that the profile link will change accordingly — provide the new username to us.

  3. Save changes and then copy the username or profile link again.

D — What to send in the Access Request Form

Use one of these two formats (copy-paste):

  • TradingView username: YourUsername

  • TradingView profile: https://www.tradingview.com/u/YourUsername/

Example: TradingView username: MasteryLab
or
TradingView profile: https://www.tradingview.com/u/MasteryLab/

E — Quick troubleshooting
  • Make sure you’re logged into the same TradingView account we are activating.

  • Refresh the app or web page if the username doesn’t show.

  • Update the TradingView app to the latest version.

  • If your profile/page is private or restricted, use the profile URL — it’s clearer.

  • Still stuck? Send us a screenshot of your profile page (where the username is visible) with your request.

Troubleshooting — common issues & fixes
  • Indicator not visible in Invite-Only Scripts

    • Confirm you’re logged in with the exact TradingView username we activated.

    • Refresh page, sign out/in, or clear browser cache.

    • If still missing, confirm you submitted the correct username to us.

    • This usually means the account hasn’t been granted invite-only access yet. Contact us with your TradingView username and screenshot.

  • Alerts not firing

    • Check alert condition and frequency (use Once Per Bar Close to avoid duplicates).

    • Ensure your device/email/webhook settings allow notifications.

    • Verify alert is active and not expired.

  • Mobile app issues

    • Update the app, restart it, or reinstall if indicator options are missing.

If you can’t resolve the issue, please send us:
